Boats

During our history we have built several types of workboats, both of aluminium and steel - mostly one-offs. Basically the working field of every workboat is individual and therefore in each new project we try to find the key issues. We believe that because of its long service life every working function aboard a workboat, which is designed and built by listening the end-users, increases their satisfaction - and vice versa.

Because the one-off boats often leave questions, whether we should have been able to test some of them better before taking them in our production, we have developed a new boat series, the Mobimar Trimaran Family.

Materials 
Aluminum is our main building material, because it is light, recyclable and non-hygroscopic. With the modern production methods lifetime of an aluminum hull is at least as good as of GRP or steel.

The fact that also the big Finnish shipyards have relied on us for their most demanding aluminum constructions means that we have both excellent knowledge of behavior and continuity in handling of aluminum.

Building standards and quality
Our boatbuilding is based on requirements of the Nordic Boat Standard for Workboats (NBS), the Lloyd's Register SSC Rules as well as DnV HSC

Our QA system is based on ISO 9001 and we are fine-tuning the system for eventual classification. The Environmental Management System ISO 14001 is valid within the Metso Paper Inc. industrial compound we are located in.

Manufacturing
Our production facilities suit best for vessels under 30 meters in length and 8 meters in width.
