Mobimar's participation at the EOW 2009 exhibition successful

 The European Offshore Wind 2009 exhibition held 14-16 September in Stockholm attracted people from all over the world. 260 exhibitors and over 4850 visitors proved that wind power is an industry worth investing in.

Mobimar's exhibition stand concentrated on launching the Mobimar 16 Wind - a trimaran service vessel for offshore wind farms. The miniature RC version of the trimaran triggered many smiles, and some visitors were brave enough to try steering the vessel towards the wind turbine base in the small bassin. The movie and animation about the trimaran as well as the other, more accurate miniature model showed our guests how the real thing looks, moves and works.

The EOW 2009 is the first wind power exhibition Mobimar has participated in, and we are really pleased for the positive reactions we received. Mobimar's trimaran concept attracted lots of interest among companies responsible for wind farm service and maintenance. We discovered that there is a strong demand for fast and stable vessels, which are capable of safely transporting service personnel to wind turbines out at sea.

The exhibition proved to be a real success - we got many interesting new contacts and received several offer requests. We thank all visitors and hope to be able to show next time in Amsterdam real results of our new gripping system in action.
